Halloween around the globe
Pumpkins and Zombies: Halloween around the globe

"No candy for Sandy," mocked a graffito in Delaware last year before the SuperStorm tore into the country. Elsewhere in America, zombies on surfboards tamed the angry waves. In Tokyo, activists dressed in Halloween costumes staged a march against nukes. In Germany, Halloween went commercial, while Colombia and Costa Rica threw up some of the zaniest costumes. And there were pumpkins, tons of them. And so they will be this year.

Enjoy these Halloween images from around the world. And add yours to Flickr. Tag them "Halloween' and we'll pick the best ones to feature here.

A Boy Makes Anti-Muslim Comments In Front Of An American Soldier.
The Soldier's Reply: Priceless.

This powerful social experiment set out to show us a glimpse of the disturbing discrimination many Muslims sadly face every day in America. I began watching this video thinking I would be left feeling disheartened and angry, but the words the soldier says at 5:05 are so powerful that I wish all people who held prejudice could hear him speak.

It is to be located on highway NH 4B near Panvel, about 35 km from the existing Sahar International Airport in Mumbai. The International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO) has already given techno-feasibility clearance to the Navi Mumbai airport.

The airport will have a terminal area of 250,000 m² and a cargo area of 100,000 m² and handle 50–55 million passengers annually. The site of airport is located in an area of 9.5 km² accommodating two parallel runways for simultaneous and segregated parallel operation with provision of full length taxi ways on either side of the runways.
